Sometimes scoring a goal isn't super fun. Like when the opposing goalkeeper attempts to put his boot through your upper body like a javelin through an undercooked chicken as you score. It's kind of hard to celebrate after that.
Houston Dynamo's Cameron Weaver found this out the heart-spearing way as he scored his side's only goal in their 4-1 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy on Saturday. Although this happened in just the sixth minute of the match, Weaver still played the full 90 minutes. Which leads me to believe that he didn't think to remove Galaxy goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts' studs from his right lung until some time after the match ended.
