DTotD: Martin Keown takes a ball to the head on ESPN

While serving as a pitchside pundit for ESPN ahead of Arsenal's FA Cup match against Leeds, Arsenal great Martin Keown took an errant football to the back of the head. It's unclear whether the Leeds player who kicked it was trying to hit Keown, but either way it was successful in annoying it's target, who turned around and gave a thumbs up as if to say, "I'm going to kill you."

Khalid Boulahrouz retains his title for most tremendous direct hit the back of a reporter's head with his unintentional effort on Sky Sports Germany's Jessica Kastrop, though.

Don't be #$%$ at the players on the pitch, be #$%$ at the TV dopes who think you can't talk in a studio. Frankly, I'm surprised this doesn't happen more often.Full disclosure: If I was a player, I'd have a running bet going with a teammate to see if could hit one of them in the head on purpose...but that's just me...
