Colombian striker Marco Perez signed a two-year loan deal with Real Zaragoza in 2010 after impressing at a young age in both his home country and Argentina. As Spanish clubs tend to do, Zaragoza held a special unveiling of Perez, where they gave him a ball so he could show off the skills that earned him a move to Europe. Instead, he got his legs all tangled up and and fell over the ball.

This would prove to be a bit of foreshadowing for Perez. He only scored once in 16 appearances for Zaragona, while also producing several misses that were just as astonishing as his tumble in the video above, which was recently made available. His loan was cut short at the end of the season.

This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
