Dirty TackleDTotD: Jean Jacques Gosso stomps on Dirk Kuyt’s crotch, goes unpunished
Fenerbahce beat Genclerbirligi 2-0 in the Turkish Super Lig, but it was still a terrible day to be Dirk Kuyt. In the 74th minute, with Fener already in control with their two-goal lead, Kuy was trying to protect the ball from two Genclerbirligi players near the endline when he was knocked to the ground. And as the ball trickled out, Genclerbirligi's Jean Jacques Gosso appeared to intentionally stomp on the helpless Dutchman's crotch.
Kuyt was left in an understandable amount of pain and his family, who were watching from the stands, was obviously upset, but Gosso went unpunished for the act. Here's the video...
On the bright side, Kuyt is now able to hit the highest of the high notes when he sings Aerosmith's "Dream On" at karaoke.
