Lucerne lost 2-0 to Grasshoppers in their Swiss Super League match on Wednesday, but Lucerne keeper David Zibung did not go down without spilling some blood for his side. Zibung prevented Grasshoppers' Izet Hajrovic from scoring on a counter attack, but Hajrovic stepped on the side of his face in the process.
Lucerne players immediately called for the physio while Zibung oozed blood on himself and the pitch. He needed four stitches, but said he was alright after the match. Hajrovic apologized for the damage he did, which he said was unintentional.
