DTotD: Gillingham fan jumps on Wycombe keeper during match

Four months after a Leeds fan hit Sheffield Wednesday's keeper in the face during a Championship match, the attacks of English football fans on goalkeepers continues, this time in League Two. During injury time of Wycombe's 1-0 win at Gillingham, a supporter invaded the pitch and jumped on Wycombe keeper Jordan Archer's back like he was trying to start a two-man mosh pit as Archer prepared to take a goal kick.

Archer, who is on loan from Tottenham, got up to confront the fan, but a steward was quick to wrestle the guy to the ground with prejudice.

If the next idiot who tries this sort of thing targets Artur Boruc, he will shatter their molecules with his primal screams and then dropkick them all into the sun. Consider that a warning.

UPDATE: The 17-year-old pitch invader who jumped on Archer was arrested.
