Milan beat Juventus on penalties in the Trofeo TIM preseason tournament, but before the match reached that point, defender Luca Antonini learned an important lesson about Juve's new striker Fernando Llorente. That lesson: smashing into his face doesn't end well for anyone.
With the score still 0-0 in the 33rd minute, Antonini got in front of a charging Llorente to make a clearance, prompting a face to face collision that bloodied both players. Antonini was taken off on a stretcher, while Llorente also left the match with a bloody nose.
This has been the Dirty Tackle of the Day: a chronicling of unfortunate events.
