DTotD: Bradford City player stops opponent with sumo throw, gets away with it

Sheffield United beat Bradford City 2-0 on Saturday and the home side's trouble might have been down to at least one defender thinking he was in some sort of sumo competition instead of a football match.

Rory McArdle tossed Sheffield's Stefan Scougall aside like a sack of old clothes inside the penalty area and he did it right in front of the referee, but no penalty was given. Scougall couldn't believe it and McArdle likely considered playing in a mawashi from now on.

Though McArdle got away with this, his teammates weren't so lucky. Fellow defender Stephen Darby was sent off early in the second half and three other Bradford City players were booked during the match.
