Dirty TackleDTotD: Argentine player stands on opponent's leg, gets sent off
Sunday's Argentine Primera Division match between Belgrano and Racing Club resulted in five goals, four yellow cards and two reds — at least one of which was truly deserved.
During the match, Belgrano tested their theory that the best way to get an opponent off the ground is to anger them. Defender Pier Barrios achieved this by intentionally standing on a Racing player's leg. It worked in that the Racing player immediately got up off the ground, but it also get Barrios sent off.
Later, Belgrano keeper Juan Carlos Olave attempted a more passive-aggressive way of angering an opponent receiving treatment, but all he got was a kick to the back of the leg from the injured party.
Racing won 4-1, helped in part by Belgrano finishing the match with just nine men.
