Dimitar Berbatov scores exceptional volley, proves that he doesn't need preseason

Despite a long career filled with beautiful goals and accolades, Dimitar Berbatov still gets tagged as lazy. But this simply isn't true. In actuality, he's just extremely talented, surprisingly graceful, and smart enough to know that you don't always have to sweat to get the job done.

The Berba demonstrated all of this once again during Monaco's friendly against Colombian side Atletico Junior. Just before halftime, a deflected shot from outside the box looped into the general vicinity of Berbatov, who adjusted to connect with a powerful volley behind his body for the match's only goal.

While most players are only just starting to shake the offseason rust or recover from a long World Cup, The Continental is already in midseason form. So if anyone needs him between now and when the season begins, he'll be practicing his Godfather impression and drawing celebrity caricatures. Ha-HA!
