Deco finishes his own testimonial by equalizing with a lob off the crossbar against Barcelona

Brazilian born Portuguese international Deco ended his glittering career last year with Fluminense and to honor him, two of his former clubs took part in a star-studded testimonial that came to a perfect end. The two teams with which Deco won the Champions League — Porto's 2004 squad and Barcelona's 2006 squad — were reassembled (as best as everyone's schedule would allow) to play the send-off match at the Estadio do Dragao.

The likes of Vitor Baia, Ricardo Carvalho, Paulo Ferreira, Jorge Costa, Nuno Valente, Benni McCarthy and Dmitri Alenichev represented Porto, while Barca had Juliano Belletti, Sylvinho, Gio van Bronckhorst, Mark van Bommel, Samuel Eto'o, Leo Messi, Ludovic Giuly and Edgar Davids (who only played one season on loan at Barca in 2004).

Deco, who won the 2004 UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award, started the match for Porto, and then switched to play a bit for Barca before finishing the match back with the home side. He scored for both teams, but he saved his best for last when lobbed in the final equalizer off the crossbar just before full time.

And that is how you end a career.
