Heading into Friday's match against Italy, few people gave Costa Rica a fighting chance. Nevertheless, Costa Rica find themselves poised to shake up Group D with a 1-0 lead going into the second half. Ceaselessly pressuring the Italian team, the Costa Ricans have set up a tense match, and tensions boiled over going into halftime, as players from both teams got into a bit of extracurricular activity.

With a tournament as prestigious as the World Cup, it's not unusual for emotions to get the best of players. That said, with both positions in Group D up for grabs, if this is how Matchday 2 carries on, imagine how Matchday 3 will be.
