Dirty TackleChelsea players meet themselves as Simpsons characters
Fox will air a special World Cup themed episode of The Simpsons in March (details here) and as a tie-in, they are partnering with a number of top international clubs to produce a line of merchandise and "Simpsonized" versions of their players. The clubs include Barcelona, Juventus, Boca Juniors, Zenit, Porto and Corinthins, but first to be unveiled is Chelsea.
Five Chelsea players were introduced to life-size cutouts of their Simpsonized selves — an experience that was apparently rather underwhelming to Eden Hazard. The fact that Simpsonized Petr Cech was drawn complete with his scrum cap is truly wonderful, though.
