Buzzing on Yahoo Sports:

Chelsea fans duped into discussing players that don’t exist

As we all know, Chelsea's current transfer policy involves letting other clubs scout relatively well-known players before swooping in and stealing them at the last minute.

The folks at talkSPORT and Manchester Utd YouTube fan channel Full Time DEVILS, however, spoke to several Blues fans about some under-the-radar players that the club have been tracking. The sting in the tail is that none of the footballers mentioned actually exist.

Using the same brilliant premise as Jimmy Kimmel's Lie Witness News, Chelsea fans feel compelled to admit they are completely clued up on the likes of Crewe's Liam Ying (an anagram of "I am lying") and Dutchman Win Nowt ("Win nothing"). Seeing them weigh up the virtues of "Win Ding Youup" is probably more awkward than watching a Curb Your Enthusiasm marathon in the nude with your parents while your girlfriend breaks up with you.

In the interest of balance, the clip includes a group of fans who don't fall for the ruse, but it is truly amazing what people will say to save face when a camera is pointed at them.
