Brazilian defender kisses angry opponent on the neck

Internaticional striker Rafael Moura was upset about a collision with Ceara defender Sandro during a Copa do Brazil match Wednesday night. Normally, these types of situations can escalate to fisticuffs or words that can never be taken back, so Sandro attempted to defuse the situation by giving Moura a kiss on the neck.

Though, this could have made things even worse, the surprising show of affection apparently confused Moura enough to make him immediately flee the scene.

After Luis Suarez used the World Cup in Brazil as an occasion to bite an opponent for the third time in his career, it's kind of nice to see an altercation during a match in the same country end with a bit of tenderness instead of attempted cannibalism. At least someone is learning from Suarez's mistakes.

Ceara went on to win 2-1, with Inter equalizing in the second minute of injury time before Ceara scored the winner in the third minute of injury time.
