Dirty TackleBournemouth owner doesn't watch his club's matches because he thinks he's a jinx
Bournemouth won 8-0 at Birmingham on Saturday to go fourth in the Sky Bet Championship and on Tuesday they beat Premier League side West Brom 2-1 to reach the club's first ever Capital One Cup quarterfinal. According to Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, superstitous Russian owner Maxim Demin believes all of this is happening because he doesn't watch, let alone attend, his club's matches.

Boss Howe, fielding questions from the Daily Echo, said: “He is very superstitious. I had to text him at a certain time before the game against West Brom on Tuesday. I won’t say what the message was but he asks me to do certain things to follow his superstitions.
“He rarely watches our games because he thinks he is bad luck. I try to convince him to come but he prefers not to.
Demin, who lives in Switzerland, has pumped millions into the club since buying a 50 percent stake in 2011 and taking full control last year. So it's sad that his superstitions prevent him from fully enjoying his investment. Then again, Howe "he asks me to do certain things to follow his superstitions" line makes me think this is all just an elaborate ploy to get the manager to send videos of himself wearing a chicken suit and singing Peter Gabriel songs before matches.
