The day after Argentina were knocked out of Copa America on penalties, Fox Sports Argentina's Julian Fernandez tweeted the above picture of a "Return Diego!" banner hung at the team's training ground by fans. Apparently these fans believe that getting eliminated in the quarterfinals of the World Cup is preferable to getting eliminated in the quarterfinals of a Copa America on their own soil.

Current manager Sergio Batista is not about to surrender his position, though. From the Independent:

"It never went through my head to resign," Batista said. "I signed my contract five months ago, and I must keep working. The balance [of the side] was not what we'd have liked, but it takes time and hard work."

...and several more Lionel Messis.
