While Luis Suarez is in Uruguay after being handed a nine-game and four-month ban from soccer, that doesn't mean that FIFA has been able to remove every bit of Suarez's image from the areas surrounding the World Cup. Case in point: an Adidas advertisement in Copacabana that turned into a tourist attraction in the days after his suspension.

With an enraged expression and an open mouth that places plenty of prominence on Suarez's teeth, the advertisement is untimely, and gave soccer fans a golden opportunity to take a photo to upload to their Instagram account.

For their part, Adidas responded quickly, pulling the advertisement and replacing it with one featuring Dani Alves.

Regarding their sponsorship of Luis Suarez, Adidas released a statement which read:

Adidas fully supports FIFA’s decision.

Adidas certainly does not condone Luis Suarez’s recent behaviour and we will again be reminding him of the high standards we expect from our players.

We have no plan to use Suarez for any additional marketing activities during the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

While it might be easy to criticize Adidas for a lack of foresight, the real criminals here are the fans who took photos but put no effort into their pose. Look at these amateurs:

That's a yawn, not the expression of a man who's had his shoulder ripped open by a rabid Luis Suarez.

He didn't even think to use his bandaged arm as a prop?!

A smile?! LUIS SUAREZ IS BITING YOUR ARM!

While nearly every photo taken with the advertisement is forgettable, notorious announcer and former-player Chris Kamara won the day with this shot:

Classic Kammy.
