New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries sat out Thursday's 108-91 loss to the Orlando Magic with a strained left calf. The Newark Star-Ledger reports that Humphries should be back in the lineup after the All-Star break.
"I think he did it couple of games ago, but he's been managing it and fortunately, he was able to play for us against the Knicks,'' coach Avery Johnson said, according to the paper. "But if he's got to miss a game, that's because he's injured — he plays with a lot of different ailments and aches and pains, so he's definitely injured when he misses a game.''
The 27-year-old Humphries is averaging 13.6 points and 10.5 rebounds this season.
