Grant Hill seriously considered joining Bulls

US PresswireSince being selected with the third overall pick in the 1994 draft, forward Grant Hill has played for the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Phoenix Suns. After four seasons in Arizona, Hill was a free agent last offseason and he seriously considered joining the Chicago Bulls, according to the Arizona Republic.

"Hill … had plenty of suitors, but none pressed his decision like the Bulls, who made a competitive offer to Hill, fully knowing that he was coming off knee surgery in September at age 39," according to the paper.

Could Hill be regretting the one-year deal he signed with the Suns for $6.5 million. The Bulls have the best record in the NBA while the Suns have lost five in a row and are 4-9 on the season.

"It was an interesting conversation," Hill said of Chicago's pursuit of him, the Republic reports. "It was very tempting. … It's a great sports town. They definitely were in the picture, and it took serious consideration on my part."

I don't know why Hill even bothered to re-sign with them. Kind of puzzled that both he and Nash are in a Suns uniform considering the current state of the team.

Generating articles based on the opinion and comments of no one, now that's modern journalism...Hill wanted to stay in Phoenix and not move his family...end of story.

Hill will be looking good in a Bulls uniform. . .and at the time of his career by the moment, he'll be some Bruce Bowen with Bulls stopping other teams elite scorers.. I i think he'll be still producing great with the squad if ever he'll be acquired by this squad. . ..

Trade Korver for Hill. Hill will do well in Chicago and The Suns will know how to get the much more out of Korver.
