San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson sat out Wednesday's practice due to a mild groin injury that he picked up during Sunday's 34-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Jackson had three receptions for 84 yards in the game. The team did not disclose the injury at that point, CBSSports.com notes.
"I am expecting he will play," head coach Norv Turner said of Jackson, CBS reports. "We will see how it goes over the next couple of days."
Jackson, who was selected by the Chargers in the second round of the 2005 draft out of Northern Colorado and made the Pro Bowl in 2009, has pulled in 56 balls for 1,036 yards receiving and eight touchdowns this season. In his seven seasons in the NFL, he has only fumbled the ball once.
