Elementary school kid drains a buzzer beater you have to see to believe

While the no-look game-winner by the kid who resembled Chunk from "Goonies" remains the gold standard of youth basketball buzzer beaters, this youth just cracked the pantheon.

Mount Pleasant (S.C.) Pinckney Elementary School student Spencer McKinley drained this over-the-head, back-to-the-basket bucket right before the halftime horn (h/t Bob's Blitz). He's wearing No. 1 in white, and the shot occurs at the 52-second mark of the video.

If the scoreboard is correct, the score was only 12-6 at the time of the basket, which means points were hard to come by even when the kids were squared up to the rim.

Not that it mattered to Spencer McKinley. He just wove through a few defenders and whirled home one of the greatest basketball shots you'll ever see. No big deal -- except for the woman who screamed, "Did you see that?" at the end of the video. Um, yes, yes we did, and so had about 35,000 people at the time of this posting.
