What to watch: Day 10 at the Olympics
A primer for those who don't feel like waiting for NBC's tape-delayed prime-time broadcast.
Gymnastics continues giving athletes a chance to shine in the individual events. For the U.S., individual all-around winner Gabby Douglas will be aiming for more gold in the uneven bars at 9:50 a.m. ET, while Sam Mikulak of the U.S. men's team will compete in the vault at 10:41 a.m. ET and the rest of the countries will compete in the rings at 9 a.m. ET.
On Monday, track and field will crown the winners of the women's pole vault (2 p.m. ET), women's shot put (2:15 p.m.), women's 3,000m steeplechase (4:05 p.m. ET), men's 400m race (4:30 p.m. ET), and men's 400m hurdles (3:45 p.m.ET), where three Americans -- Angelo Taylor, Michael Tinsley and Kerron Clement -- are in the running for a medal.
The preliminary heats of several other track events will take place, including the women's 100m hurdles at 5:05 a.m. ET, giving you your first chance to glimpse the hype machine that is Lolo Jones.

Men's basketball takes the court against Argentina at 5:15 p.m. ET. Expect Team USA to make up for the closer-than-it-should-have-been 99-94 game against Lithuania, though the Americans will find a tougher opponent in Argentina, which boasts the San Antonio Spurs' Manu Ginobili and Phoenix Suns forward Luis Scola.
Meanwhile, women's soccer continues its golden run with a semifinal game against Canada at 2:45 p.m. ET. There may be some fireworks, as the Canadian coach has already accused the Americans of committing "highly illegal" maneuvers.
In beach volleyball action, the remaining U.S. men's team of Jake Gibb and Sean Rosenthal will play Latvia at 2 p.m. ET in the quarterfinals.
