Watch American and Russian reactions to T.J. Oshie's game-winning goal

In a matter of minutes U.S. hockey player T.J. Oshie became a household name.

His game-winning shootout goal – one of four he scored in the shootout – gave the Americans a 3-2 win over Russia in one of the most anticipated hockey games of the Sochi Winter Olympics.

Here’s how various watch parties reacted to Oshie’s game-winning goal:

 

Of course not everyone was excited by Oshie’s goal, especially these Russian Olympic volunteers (thanks to Canadian journalist Bruce Arthur for the video):

And the Russian TV call of the final goal was equally as sad:

Even though this game didn't have as much on the line as the 1980 contest between these two teams, this game will be the talk of the Americans and Russians for quite some time and none of these people will forget where they were Oshie’s miracle happened.
