Rowan Cheshire, Great Britain freestyle skier, had a tough fall this past weekend while training for the women's halfpipe, sustaining a concussion and briefly knocking herself unconscious. While in the hospital, she tweeted out the followng highly painful selfie:
Ouch. Cheshire, 18, was considered an outside shot at a medal, and she's not out of competition yet. She's been released from the hospital, per a statement from Team Great Britain, and may return to action by Thursday's halfpipe event.

"She will return to the athlete's Mountain Village where she will be looked after by team medical staff," the statement read. "Her progress will be monitored on a day to day basis as is standard with concussion and a determination regarding her ability to compete will be made later this week."
Before that, though, she was able to "pose" for a photo with her teammates:
Cheshire's event isn't scheduled to run until Thursday, but it remains unclear whether she'll be in any condition to compete at that point.
