Olympians get flooded with fan mail in the midst of the Games, and U.S. ski jumpers Anders Johnson, 24 of Utah, and Peter Frenette, 21 of N.Y., recently tweeted photos of their room in Sochi, which is decorated with letters and cards from fans.

“A nice pile of good luck notes put a smile on my face. Thanks everyone for the support!” Frenette wrote of the encouragement.

His favorite? A homemade card that reads, “Good luck USA! Don’t Die!”

Poland's Kamil Stoch, 26, won gold Monday in the men's normal hill ski jumping at RusSki Gorki Jumping Center in Sochi with marks of 105.5 meters and 103.5 meters, the best jumps in both rounds. Peter Preve of Slovenia won the silver medal and Norway's Anders Bardal took home bronze. Neither Frenette nor Johnson made it into the second round when the field was cut to 31. Frenette placed 45th and Johnson placed 47th.
