Fourth-Place Medal

Matt Lauer and Al Roker. Double luge. Video. Enough said.

Fourth-Place Medal

We all know there are certain Winter Olympic sports we could never, ever do. Giant slalom at full speed, slopestyle snowboarding, moguls ... we'd snap in half. On the other end of the spectrum, there's curling, which everyone can do, just not very well. But luge? Sit on a sled and ride? That falls firmly in the "how hard could it be?" category.

Al Roker and Matt Lauer, who's Mr. Everywhere these Games, decided to take a run together, and, well ... it wasn't pretty. It wasn't within nine time zones of pretty. But it's funny, and it's a good approximation of just how hard luge is. Keep this in mind as you're watching.

Now, gentlemen: pairs skating next!
