When I first saw this picture I couldn't figure out what the guy in the purple shirt was doing. He's standing in the middle of Tianamen Square, in front of some Olympic sign, with his thumbs held up high in the air.
I guess the Olympic spirit must really be catching on in China, I thought.
But then, I looked closer and saw the little boy in the corner doing the same thing. All I could think of when I saw him was Mini-Me. The picture cracked me up, but I still can't figure out what the heck they're doing. Is a thumbs-up pose in a picture in China the equivalent of a smile in a picture in America?
