There were 205 flag bearers at the Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics. Two hundred four carried the flag high in the air. One did not.

That would be Mahfizur Rahman Sagor of Bangladesh. The swimmer waved his flag at shoulder level, repeatedly hitting the young girl accompanying his country's four-athlete delegation. He seemed to notice at one point but kept on waving, almost like he was playing an elaborate game of peek-a-boo on the world's biggest stage.
Sagor is seeded 39th in the 50 freestyle.
