The Sochi Olympic Games haven’t even started yet, but American athletes are already tweeting out photos of the outfits they are wearing for the closing ceremonies on Feb. 23.

American figure skater Polina Edmunds is on the left modeling the American opening ceremonies outfit and – we think – skier David Wise is on the right modeling the closing ceremonies outfit.

Both were made by designer Ralph Lauren.

As you can see, the closing ceremony garb is toned down from the opening ceremony outfit. It appears to be a simple turtleneck with a blazer and hat. The pants and shoes look the same as the opening ceremony outfit.

There were a lot of critics when the opening ceremonies outfit first debuted. Is the closing ceremonies outfit a better alternative?
