Whiskey, personalized Gibson guitar make up NHL All-Star swag bag

NHL All-Stars are descending upon Nashville on Thursday as the league’s five-day break begins. With the Skills Competition on Saturday and the 3-on-3 tournament Sunday, players will have plenty of downtime to go out and enjoy Music City with their friends and families.

One of the perks of being at All-Star Weekend if you’re a player, owner or VIP is the swag bag, which this year has been put together by the Nashville Sports Council.

According to Jessica Bliss of the Tennessean, NHL players, owners and VIPs will be going home with some pretty sweet items featuring a Nashville flavor.

Aside from local beer, candies and cookies, including something heavenly-looking called a Goo Goo Cluster, players will get golf balls and their own personalized Gibson guitar featuring a metal nameplate. (Hopefully Roman Josi got to pick his own.)

If you’re an NHL owner or league VIP and trying to stick to your New Year’s resolution of avoiding sweets, and guitar isn’t your thing, maybe a bottle Jack Daniel's Select Tennessee Whiskey with the All-Star logo etched on it is up your alley?

All-Star Weekend is sure to be a memorable experience for all involved, depending on how much of that whiskey is left come Monday.
