No. 1 Star: Brian Elliott, St. Louis Blues

While the team's No. 1, Jaroslav Halak struggled, Elliott has righted the Blues' ship with his third straight win in a 3-0 defeat of the Vancouver Canucks. Elliott made 32 saves for his first shutout since Dec. 4, 2010 and the 10th of his career.

No. 2 Star: Max Pacioretty, Montreal Canadiens

Pacioretty entered Wednesday night's tilt with the Canadiens as a game-time decision with an upper-body injury. He was in the lineup, played 16:29 and scored twice and assisted on another as Montreal downed the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1 to end a six-game skid.

No. 3 Star: Rene Bourque, Calgary Flames

Bourque really enjoys playing against the Colorado Avalanche. Really enjoys it. During Calgary's 4-2 win, Bourque netted a pair giving him 13 goals and 25 points in 28 career games against Colorado, his most against any NHL team.

Honorable mention: Carey Price stopped 21 shots to snap a five-game losing streak and earn his 100th career NHL victory ... Jaromir Jagr scored his third goal in two games ... Alex Steen scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season to give him nine points in eight games for the Blues ... Miikka Kiprusoff made 32 saves for his 279th NHL win ... Flames rookie Roman Horak notched his first NHL goal.

Did you know? St. Louis became the ninth NHL team to reach the 1,500 win mark.

Dishonorable mention? Ilya Bryzgalov allowed five goals on 28 shots and his defense in front of him was a mess ... Kevin Bieksa was a minus-2 and is now tied with Eric Staal with an NHL-worst minus-9 ... Colorado had its six-game road win streak snapped.
