Watch Pavel Datsyuk dance to ‘YMCA’ during youth hockey camp (Video)

After signing a three-year, $23 million extension with the Detroit Red Wings last month, Pavel Datsyuk is home in Russia running his annual hockey camp in Ekaterinburg. The two-week camp kicked off on Monday, which is for kids 8-14 years old.

Known for his sarcasm and dry wit, Datsyuk let loose on the ice this week dancing to "YMCA" from The Village People in front of his campers:

If this isn't incorporated into the opening ceremonies before the Sochi Games, we're going to be very, very disappointed.

For more on Datsyuk's camp, check out Rory Boylen of the The Hockey News' dispatches from his time there in 2011.
