Tuesday's Three Stars: Grabovski leaves it late; Marleau OT hero

No. 1 Star: Mikhail Grabovski(notes), Toronto Maple Leafs

Phil Kessel(notes) scored his second goal of the night five minutes earlier to tie things at three and Grabovski capped off the Toronto comeback with his second tally of the game with 1:01 remaining in regulation to give the Maple Leafs a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins:

No. 2 Star: Patrick Marleau(notes), San Jose Sharks

The Nashville Predators remained winless in overtime this season (0-5) after Marleau potted the winner for San Jose 3:53 into the extra frame to give the Sharks a 2-1 win. Despite Pekka Rinne's(notes) 48 saves, the combination of a turnover in the Sharks' offense zone and the Predators defense playing up on the ice led to a Marleau breakaway winner

No. 3 Star: Shawn Horcoff(notes), Edmonton Oilers

Snapping a three-game skid, Horcoff's goal and two assists led the Oilers to a 4-1 win over the Dallas Stars. Earning their first win in eight home games, Edmonton got 24 saves from Nikolai Khabibulin(notes), who himself snapped a personal 14-game losing streak. Taylor Chorney(notes) scored his first NHL goal as the Oilers rebounded from a 4-0 loss to Anaheim on Sunday night.

Honorable mention: Giving Ryan Miller(notes) a night off after 31 consecutive starts, Jonas Enroth stopped 32 shots and and Drew Stafford(notes) scored his ninth goal in five games as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in a shootout. Habs forward Travis Moen(notes) played in his 500th NHL game, while Tim Connolly(notes) of the Sabres played in his 600th ... James van Riemsdyk(notes) recorded a Gordie Howe Hat Trick and Kimmo Timmonen scored the deciding goal in the shootout as the Philadelphia Flyers got by the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3. In his Flyers debut, Kris Versteeg(notes) finished a minus-1 with two shots and 17:44 of ice time ... Michael Grabner(notes) scored his 10th goal in six games and Nathan Lawson(notes) made 28 saves for his first NHL win as the New York Islanders downed the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in the shootout. Senators forward Jason Spezza(notes) recorded an assist for his 500th NHL point ... Cory Schneider(notes) stopped 28 shots and Ryan Kesler(notes) and Manny Malhotra(notes) each contributed two points as Vancouver beat Minnesota 4-1 for their first win against the Wild at Xcel Energy Center in five games ... After their game tonight, the Bruins announced they had traded a second round pick in this June's draft to Ottawa for forward Chris Kelly(notes).
