Teemu Selanne's career representing Finland ended on Saturday with an Olympic bronze medal. There was one more award for him to receive on Sunday before departing Sochi and heading back to the Anaheim Ducks.

After scoring four goals and recording six points, the 43-year old Selanne was voted by the media as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

The remaining individual awards, as voted by the tournament directorate, were spread out among the other three countries who were in the Olympic final four.

Best Goalkeeper: Carey Price, Canada
Best Defenseman: Erik Karlsson, Sweden
Best Forward: Phil Kessel, USA

While they both came up short for gold, the Swedes and Finns dominated the Olympic All-Star Team, as chosen by media:

G: Henrik Lundqvist, Sweden
D: Erik Karlsson, Sweden
D: Drew Doughty, Canada
F: Teemu Selanne, Finland
F: Phil Kessel, USA
F: Mikael Granlund, Finland

Selanne was originally named as Finland's flag bearer for Sunday night's Closing Ceremony, but reports out of Finland stated that NHL charters back to North America were leaving before the festivities would begin.
