Sami Vatanen really wants in on that hug.

No. 1 Star: John Gibson, Anaheim Ducks

Gibson added to his dream start to the NHL by shutting out the Los Angeles Kings 2-0 in his playoff debut. He also recorded a shutout in his NHL debut in April. Gibson's 28 saves helped the Ducks even their series with the Kings 2-2 as things moves back to Honda Center Monday night.

No. 2 Star: Carl Soderberg, Boston Bruins

The Swedish forward had his best night of the playoffs scoring a goal and assisting on two others as the Bruins downed the Montreal Canadines 4-2. The series now shifts back to Bell Centre with Boston holding a 3-2 lead.

No. 3 Star: Martin Jones, Los Angeles Kings

After replacing Jonathan Quick in the second period, Jones had a fine view of the rest of the game due to lack of action. The Kings were so busy pressing, while the Ducks were so busy sitting back, that Jones needed to make only three saves over the final two periods for the Kings.

Honorable mention: It was a good night for the Boston Swedes as Loui Eriksson scored a goal and helped set up Soderberg's ... Boston converted on two of their four power plays, while Montreal was successful on two of their five ... What a pass by Torey Krug to set up Jarome Iginla:

Devante Smith-Pelly and Ryan Getzalf scored 2:43 apart late in the first period to provide all the offense for the Ducks. Corey Perry assisted on both goals. Getzlaf also played a little net, as well:

Did You Know? Wysh got pie'd tonight:

Dishonorable mention: P.K. Subban was squirted with some water from the bench by Shawn Thornton and it appears there might be a fine handed out ... Anaheim was outshot 12-0 in the second period. They would end up going 25:34 without a shot on goal ... LA's power play failed in its four opportunities.
