No. 1 Star: Steve Mason, Philadelphia Flyers

Mason’s 34-save effort was the difference in Game 6, as the Flyers defeated the New York Rangers, 5-2.

No. 2 Star: Wayne Simmonds, Philadelphia Flyers

Simmonds’ hat trick powered the Flyers offense in the win, as he tallied two power-play goals and an even strength tally. In true Wayne Simmonds fashion, he also earned a 10-minute misconduct.

No. 3 Star: Claude Giroux, Philadelphia Flyers

Giroux scored an empty netter and had two assists on Simmonds’ goals.

Honorable mention: Erik Gustafsson had the Flyers’ other goal. … Mats Zuccarello and Carl Hagelin scored for the Rangers.

Dishonorable mention: Henrik Lundqvist was yanked after giving up four goals. … The Rangers’ power play went 0-for-5.
