And this is why we have video review.

In the Minnesota Wild's contest against the Buffalo Sabres, a goal scored by Ryan Carter was immediately waved off by referee Paul Devorski per the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Michael Russo. But the NHL saw otherwise, as the booth initiated a review.

The video please:

This is from the NHL as to why it was called a good goal.

"At 6:07 of the first period in the Buffalo Sabres/Minnesota Wild game, the Situation Room initiated a video review to further examine a play at the Buffalo net. Video review determined that Ryan Carter did not bat the puck with his hand and that he used his stick to direct the puck into the net in a legal fashion. Good goal Minnesota."

Judging by the video this was indeed the correct call. Thoughts?
