Jaroslav Halak(notes) will be in goal for Montreal while Brian Elliott(notes) gets his ninth straight start for Ottawa.
Preview: Vancouver Canucks at Nashville Predators, 8 p.m. EST. Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault on his team's lack of clutch goals: “It’s great when you can make a 5-2 game 6-2. It’s a lot easier behind the bench. But at the end of the day, most of the games are real tight and they’re hard fought. We need to get back on the track of getting into those games and winning those games. The Canucks lead the league in 'those goals [that] really don’t mean a lot.'"
