-Former Toronto Maple Leafs captain and Hall of Famer Ted "Teeder" Kennedy passed away at the age of 83 today. Kennedy played 14 years in the NHL and led the Leafs to five Stanley Cup titles. He was the Hart Trophy winner in 1955 and was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966. [Globe & Mail]
