• Police blotter: Edmonton Oilers goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin(notes) was arrested February 8th on charges of impaired driving and speeding. Khabibulin, who is out for the rest of the season after back surgery, was caught driving 70 mph in a 45 mph zone and registered a blood-alcohol level of more than .08 according to the police report. • Ken Campbell throws out a "Thomas Kaberle to Vancouver in exchange for Cody Hodgson(notes)" rumor to see if it sticks. [The Hockey News]

• A handful of NHLers who were suing a golf-course developer for $25 million after bilking them out of investment money, may be out of luck. A judge ordered depositions to be given this week, but with the ongoing Olympics, some of the players decided against showing up in court. [NY Post]
