Five things to know about tonight's NHL games ...
2) Avs looking to move up. A win for Colorado would see them pass the Blackhawks for second in the Central Division with 16 games to go.
3) No. 1,000 for Henrik Sedin. Tonight marks the 1,000th game in the career of Henrik Sedin, but the celebrating will be at a minimum given the Canucks' current 2-11-2 slide. "A lot of nights you lay in bed and wonder what has happened," he said.
4) Burrows still goalless. Alex Burrows remains 5 shots away from tying Craig Adams' record for most shots in a goalless season by a forward. It's killing him. Either he'll score or he won't, and either way, you'll want to see it.
5) Ducks need to shutdown Brian McGrattan. The tough guy has two goals in two games, bringing his career total to 9. Forget Cammalleri, Backlund, Monahan or Hudler, McGrattan's the guy Bruce Boudreau needs to find a way to stop.
Bold prediction: No goal for McGrattan, but Burrows finally opens his account as the Canucks win 3-1.
