Puck Daddy’s 2015 NHL Trade Deadline Live Blog, Hour 2

11:49 a.m. ET: There are no trades going on at the moment. So Sportsnet currently has Nick Kypreos, Glenn Healy and Neil Smith reminiscing about the 1994 trade deadline where the Rangers acquired Stephane Matteau, Brian Noonan and Glenn Anderson and others. This feels like a frat reunion. Also Smith recalls a story of how when he traded Todd Marchant for Craig MacTavish, then Oilers GM Glen Sather didn't realize that Marchant was short. Ha! Also, friend of the program Jeff Marek is being one heck of a moderator.

11:36 a.m. ET: Trade target Chris Stewart is on the ice for the Buffalo Sabres for their practice in Tampa. Will he be yanked off? Will he complete the practice? Anything is possible on trade deadline day!

11:14 a.m. ET: So this happened at Penguins practice today:

Not that we thnk Crosby is getting traded, but that's an interesting situation to note on deadline day.

11:06 a.m. ET: Dion Phaneuf's name is out there again. This time Darren Dreger says there are 'preliminary discussions' between the Maple Leafs and the Red Wings. Second time we've heard Phaneuf's name mentioned with Detroit this morning. Also, when Dreger talks about Toronto, there are familial reasons to believe him ... or be used as a sounding board.
