Canada vs. Norway, 12 p.m. EST
Five things to know about today's Olympic games ...
1. Jonathan Quick, Carey Price start for U.S., Canada. Dan Bylsma has only revealed his starting goaltender for Team USA's first game, while Mike Babcock laid out his plans for Canada's opening two games with Price in net today versus Norway and Roberto Luongo getting the nod Friday against Austria.
3. Kopitars rule Slovenia. Anze, the only Slovenian in the NHL, will anchor their top line. Matjaz, his father, will lead the team from behind the bench. The other Kopitar, Gasper, Anze's younger brother, did not make the final roster.
5. Tore Vikingstad is retired. We'll just have to marvel at the wonders of "The Hobbit," Mats Zuccarello then.
Bold prediction: Jonathan Quick posts a shutout, giving Dan Bylsma something to think about heading into Game 2 on whether or not to go to Ryan Miller.
