It’s finally, finally here.
No more scrimmages or practice games or tryout contracts or minor leaguers who never had a prayer of making the roster. No more pointless fights and pointless shootouts in meaningless games. (Not that there won’t be pointless fighting and pointless shootouts, mind you; it’s just that they’ll be in games that mean something now.)
Hockey’s back, and it begins tonight with games between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Montreal Canadiens; the Washington Capitals at the Chicago Blackhawks; and the Winnipeg Jets at the Edmonton Oilers.
You’re pals at Puck Daddy are chattin’ the early games, beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. You bring the insight and the funny. We bring the Hamburger Women. That's how this works.
