The Colorado Avalanche officially revealed their Stadium Series jersey. And as expected, it harkens to some Colorado nostalgia with the Rockies and gives some level of newness with Colorado’s burgundy and blue color scheme.

Above is the logo on the front of the jersey.

Now here’s the back of the jersey with big burgundy numbers.

And one of the cooler parts, an ode to the Mile High City of Denver, with 5,280 on the neck.

The Detroit Red Wings, Colorado’s opponent for the Feb. 27 game, haven’t released their jersey yet, but some leaked graphics show some sort of sash across the front.

It's kind of like a white version of the team's new third jersey.

Colorado had a media event at Coors Field Monday, where the game will be held. That was where these jerseys were released.

The numbers on the sleeves are quite large, but as NHL.com notes it's "so fans in attendance will be able identify their favorite players."

What do you think of these jerseys? Pass or fail?
