NY Rangers fan gets Chris Kreider shaved into his head (Video)

Joe Barajas is known as “Joe The Barber” and he’s a bit of an artistic genius: Cutting everything from the San Antonio Spurs to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into his customers’ hair, complete with colorization.

“It’s like getting a tattoo but it grows out and you go about your business. A lot of people love to express themselves with their hair,” said Barajas, who owns the Kardzmatic Barbershop in San Antonio, to ABC News.

The New York Rangers were so enamored by Joe’s coif-cutting that they featured him in a commercial campaign this season, putting the visage of forward Mats Zuccarello onto one customer’s noggin:

Well, Joe wanted to reiterate his dedication to the Rangers this postseason. So he decided to take one of the key players in their Eastern Conference playoff run – forward Chris Kreider, of the five goals so far in these playoffs – and create a piece of follicle art.

“I did this haircut to show love to the New York Rangers on their quest to win the Stanley Cup this year. Many things changing in my life but I will always stay positive and keep pushing.”

We always said Kreider could be a head case …

Now this is like a playoff beard, right? You don’t wash it until after the playoffs? Because on the one hand, that’s dedication. On the other … yuck.

If only Joe were around in 1994, just to see a bald Mark Messier shaved into someone's beautiful mop...
