It was the Canucks' last game without John Tortorella, but their suspended head coach was in Winnipeg in spirit (and cardboard) thanks to some generous Jets' fans.

No. 1 Star: Shea Weber, Nashville Predators

A game-time decision for the Preds, Weber opted not just to play, but to play incredibly well. The Nashville captain scored the first and last goals in a 3-2 win over the New Jersey Devils. The final goal was an overtime tally after the Predators tied it with just 10.8 seconds to go in regulation.

No. 2 Star: Devin Setoguchi, Winnipeg Jets

Setoguchi scored the game-winner late in the Jets' 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks. It was his second goal of the game, pushing Setoguchi to 10 on the year. Prior to the two-goal outburst, Setoguchi had just one goal in his last 26 games.

No. 3 Star: Ryan Kesler, Vancouver Canucks

Kesler did all he could to drag the Canucks into the win column. He was in on every goal in the loss, with a goal and 2 assists in 21:53 of ice time -- tops among Vancouver forwards. It was his first 3-point night since December of 2011. He also won 12 of 21 draws.

Honorable mention: Jeff Skinner scored the game-winner in the Carolina Hurricanes' 3-1 win over the St. Louis Blues... Henrik Lundqvist made 38 saves as the New York Rangers held off the New York Islanders 4-1 in the indoor classic... Patrick Eaves' shootout winner was the difference in a 4-3 Detroit Red Wings' triumph over the Washington Capitals. Alex Ovechkin scored his 39th in the loss, tying the game up with seven seconds to go:

Did You Know? The Carolina Hurricanes' win gave them 10 in the month of January. It's their first 10-win month since 2009.

Dishonorable mention: The Canucks battled back to tie the Jets twice, only to give the game away in the final moments with two high-sticking penalties and a late goal. They finish the Tortorella-free era with trust 2 wins in 6 games...
