No. 1 Star: Sergei Bobrovsky, Columbus Blue Jackets

After a rough start to the season, the reigning Vezina trophy winner appears to be back in form. He stopped 34 shots from the Anaheim Ducks in the Jackets 4-2 win.

Couldn't decide which crazy-amazing save to show so I'll go with both. Bob stonewalls Andrew Cogliano with his legs ...

And later robs Daniel Winnik with the glove ...

No. 2 Star: Claude Giroux, Philadelphia Flyers

Maybe Giroux's early-season prediction of the Flyers making the playoffs might actually come true after all. Philly defeated the Sharks 5-2 on a goals and two assists from Giroux. The Flyers chased Sharks starter Anttii Nieto in third period. Matt Nieto scored both goals for San Jose.

No. 3 Star: Craig Anderson, Ottawa Senators

It was a surprisingly low scoring game between two of the league's top shooting teams; it was a goaltending-duel, if you will. Marc-Andre Fleury had one of the top saves of the year and Craig Anderson made 46 saves in the 2-1 (OT) loss to Pittsburgh. James Neal scored the OT goal after a bad defensive breakdown by Ottawa.

Honorable mention: Ben Scrivens was given the night off from getting shelled in net and this time it was Ilya Bryzgalov's turn. Bryz stopped 42-of-44 from the Buffalo Sabres in the Oilers 3-2 win; new-guy Matt Hendricks scored a short-handed game-winning goal for Edmonton ... Ryan Getzlaf was the only Duck awake towards the end of the game and scored this goal from his knees while falling forwards ...

... To welcome back John Tortorella, Detroit goalies Jonas Gustavsson and Jimmy Howard combined to shut-out the Vancouver Canucks 2-0; Gustavsson did not return to the game after the first intermission due to dizziness and Howard took over. Justin Abdelkader scored both goals for the Red Wings. Even though he took the loss, Canucks backup Eddie Lack made a spectacular save of his own ...

... Just another multipoint night for Patrick Kane (3), Nick Leddy (2), Jonathan Toews (2) and Patrick Shark (2) in the Blackhawks 5-3 win versus Los Angeles; Anze Kopitar's goal tied the game at 2-2 before the 'Hawks scored three-straight ...

Did you know? The Solar Vortex of Anaheim, Los Angeles and San Jose were eclipsed tonight by Columbus, Chicago and Philly. All three teams lost tonight by a combined score of 14-8; they can barely buy a goal right now.

Dishonorable mention: Pittsburgh's Taylor Pyatt left the game with a lower-body injury after playing 22 seconds ... Buffalo's Tyler Myers suffered a lower-body injury in the second period and did not return ... New Jersey lead 1-0 after 18:25 played in the first period; nearly the exact same time had elapsed in the third period when P.A. Parenteau scored the game-tying goal for Colorado. A minute later, Andy Greene took a slashing penalty. The carry-over penalty time lead to a Ryan O'Reilly game-winning power play overtime goal for the Avs.
