NHL Three Stars: Lehtonen, Eriksson lead Stars over Ducks

No. 1 Star: Kari Lehtonen, Dallas Stars

Lehtonen stopped 20 shots, including 12 in the second period, as he won his fourth straight start in Dallas' 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. He helped keep the Stars lead intact with this big glove save on Daniel Winnik in the second period:

No. 2 Star: Loui Eriksson, Dallas Stars

Eriksson helped set up Trevor Daley's opening power play goal and then added his fourth of the season as the insurance marker midway through the third period. In 37 career games against the Ducks, Eriksson has 15 goals and 30 points.

No. 3 Star: Trevor Daley, Dallas Stars

Daley scored his first of the year, led all defensemen with 22:05 time on-ice and blocked three shots.

Honourable mention: Alex Goligoski and Derek Roy each chipped in two assists ... Viktor Fasth made 11 of 12 saves in relief of Jonas Hiller ... Nick Bonino's fourth of the year was the only goal for the Ducks ... Jamie Benn scored his fourth goal in three games on a tough angle:

Did you know? "The victory is their 758th since moving to Texas and equals the win total they had as the Minnesota North Stars." [@DallasStars]

Dishonourable mention: Brad Staubitz was given five and a game for a spear on Brenden Dillon ... Staubitz's two penalties in the first led to two power play goals for the Stars ... Jonas Hiller had to leave the game after the first period with what the Ducks were calling not a serious lower-body injury ... Anaheim was limited to a single shot in the third period.
